camcorder records pristine 100Mbps HD images in any of 11 video
formats, encompassing 60Hz and 50Hz production. The versatile,

Tape Stock: The HDX900 uses
DVCPRO MEDIUM size cassettes as in the Panasonic AJ-P66M. These tapes
will yeild 32 minutes of record time at DVCPRO HD-LP speed/track width.
Note that the DVCPRO HD-LP tapes recorded in the HDX-900 camera cannot
be played back in older series DVCPRO HD VTRs like the Panasonic
AJ-HD130 or AJ-HD150. For playback or post-production use the Panasonic
AJ-HD1200A, AJ-HD1400 or AJ-HD1700 VTRs.
