The F23 CineAlta is a vast
departure from other HD camera designs. The F23 4:4:4 system represents
the future available today, with 12+ stops of exposure latitude,
unmatched shadow detail, pristine noiseless images, over/under cranking
and speed ramping from 1 to 60 fps, wide color gamut and flexible form
factor, the F23 is clearly the finest HD cinematography camera
available. AMV is pleased to be the first rental
company in the eastern United States to offer the F23.
1080P RGB 4:4:4 image capture
and signal processing. Intuitive film work-style architecture.
Controls, indicators and menus follow cinematography conventions.
Variable Frame-rate in 1fps increments over and under cranking, 1fps to
60fps. High precision 14-bit AD conversion and high bit order
digital signal processing for high latitude (dynamic range), and a
accurate color reproduction. Five preset plus custom gamma curves
including one preset 10-bit "S-Log" gamma for ultra wide latitude.
