AMV’s newest HD
carrypack, the HD Tapeless system
emphasizes speed and cost effectiveness.
Featuring up to eight 1920x1080 Sony
PMW-EX3 and/or PMW-350 cameras, the HD
Tapeless Carrypack offers exceptionally
high quality images at affordable
price-points.
The system is our first multi-camera
production system to offer HD tapeless
recording capability to solid state media.
Similar to our larger systems, no detail
is left unattended. Our production bench
features a multiviewer monitor wall with
up to twenty images, comms, VCA volume
control, pencil sharpener and even cup
holders. The roadcase even becomes the
furniture, speeding set-up and giving your
crew ergonomics which foster and support a
great product. Best of all our Carrypack
is scalable, adding the capability you
need, without the over-head of additional
costs, excessive weight or case count.

AMV offers a
RAID Array Back-up System.
Featuring a fast Dell laptop computer
with optimized hardware and specialized
software, memory card data is easily and
quickly transferred to two 1TB SATA hard
drives simultaneously in one pass. Data
is CRC Check-Sum verified to insure that
that the data on each hard drive is
identical to the source(s). The client
may then chose to purchase both SATA
hard drives so they can keep one as an
archive and the second as a transport
drive to their post house, or some
clients may chose to purchase only one
drive and request that AMV hold onto the
second drive until the files are
transferred at the post house. Either
way, your files and show are protected
and backed up with a higher degree of
protection than tape. Best of all, SATA
drives are relatively inexpensive when
compared to tape and/or additional
memory cards. AMV’s system is
both Final Cut and Avid friendly.
