productions. AMV's Matrix, Broadcast Engineering
Magazine 2004 NAB editor's “Pick of Show" award winner, is the first
flypack that allows you to bring the absolute pinnacle of technology to
any location in the world. It offers a full suite of state-of-the-art
tools, comparable to any of our high end production mobile units.
AMV engineers accepted the daunting task of
designing and building a carry-pack which offered all the technical
capability of one of our marquee production trucks. Furthermore they
were challenged to create an infrastructure that was both High
definition and Standard Definition capable. The system
needed to be scalable, adjusting to the size and scope of any
particular project. The result is a system that has no equal, the
consummate portable production
facility designed to handle the most demanding entertainment or sports
project, yet adaptable to smaller less complicated productions as well.
Exhibiting its flexibility, Matrix has been
used on productions with as few as eight cameras and also as many as
sixty High Definition multi-format cameras (replacing two
production trucks). The infrastructure is equally powerful, complete
with a Sony MVS-8000 4ME production switcher, a powerful 128 x 128
multi-format router, 136x136 Adam system and an audio complement
complete with a Calrec Zeta digital audio console that leaves many TV
trucks in the dust!
The whole package is built as a modular
platform which easily quickly breaks down into manageable road cases.

even the system’s furniture, insuring that no detail has been
forgotten. We’ll make you feel so at home, don’t be
